Overview
The Family (Spouse) KITAS is the standard route for foreigners married to Indonesian nationals. It does not permit employment on its own, but it can be upgraded to permanent residency over time.
A dependent stay permit sponsored by your Indonesian spouse, allowing long-term residence with your family in Indonesia.
Key eligibility requirements
- Legally registered marriage to an Indonesian citizen
- Indonesian marriage certificate or legalised foreign certificate
- Sponsor's KTP and Kartu Keluarga
- Passport valid at least 18 months
